smat45 Pillar of the Community United States 2340 Posts	Posted 12/19/2020 08:39 am I would have to guess based on the reverse...the details on the devises are clean and undamaged...there's a little bit of chatter next to eagles left wing...remnant of a finger print...but over all the fields look beautiful! I'm going out on a limb...think the reverse is so clean that the photo was taken at an angle and with min light so as to not wash out the coin with flashback? And if the obverse is the same (pics are not as good as reverse)...minimal chatter...strong undamaged devises...I could see this easily as MS63 even MS64. Look forward to pics in hand... Check out the 1878CC VAM 9 as the tilted right CC matches position and tilt of the OP example. The 78CC also had a flat breast that this coin displays. Report this Post to the Staff
