Here's the last increment of my first PCGS submission. Out of 8 coins, I had two body-bags. I'm very pleased with the other results. The 1878-S is a VAM 36 (dragon scales) and that Walker is an absolute beauty!

Hi Dave,
Congratulations on the results; 6 out of 8 is a pretty good success rate for PCGS submissions! I have some coins out to them right now and I'd be happy with that yield.

You might be able to clean off that PVC using acetone. If the 1917 Walker is a nice BU it could be worth sending it back in once the green slime is removed. Even if you don't re-submit you'll want to get rid of the residue to prevent future damage.

Hey, post some pictures if you can!

I plan to give that 1917 Walker an acetone bath.

Too bad about the bodybags, but the others sure look nice.

You wouldn't happen to be giving that rejected Morgan away, would you?

I suspect the "Altered Surface" on the Morgan is based on the toning on the reverse below the eagle's right wing. Otherwise, the coin looks fine from the photo.

I can see the PVC damage based on dullness and other factors but the Morgan w/altered surfaces, umm.
