Cherrypicked this a while ago and it finally arrived today. Mail is very slow right now. Honestly have no idea how rare this is but it is hard to find as tough to see on anything but fairly high-grade coins in hand or with super sharp pics on ebay. This spot was blank in my collection until today but now have filled it with a fairly nice, very early die state example.

Congrats.

Another nice one. Did you recently purchase a 1929 S Lincoln by any chance
Rest in Peace

Thanks for the kind words! My guess is that these aren't too common, but there is one up on ebay for $40 so they are out there. And Will, no, haven't picked any 1929-S coins lately.

Yea batts I got beat on a probably 63-64 red 1929 S/S. I bid it up but forgot to check it and got beaten by $1. They are hard to find in original condition.

Nice one.

Have you considered getting a website for your collection? This would be good for reference info but I think more importantly for an artistic tribute to the coins and your photography.

Appreciate the kind words!

Bummer Will, sorry you missed it. That would have been a good score.

CoinHI, I have thought a number of times about a website for the coin photos, but there just isn't enough time to do it all. Likely would have to work with a collaborator if it is to get done anytime soon. But honestly if you Google almost any of the varieties I've posted here, you will find the thread on this board pretty quickly. It's one of the reasons I try to label my posts fairly completely, so that Google finds the thread if someone is looking for information about a specific coin. It's part of the reason why I post a lot of coins here, so folks looking for info can find it along with clear photos of the coin.
