Grade makes sense given cheek and chin marks.

I'd say 64 is fair. I wouldn't call it choice for grade based on what appear some subtle breaks in luster on the high points, primarily reverse. Could also just be the appearance through plastic. I would have said easy MS-63, very possible 64. Overall nicely struck example.

First,

IMHO, the obverse would be MS-63 or 63+. The reverse is much better, and likely MS-65. The net grade of MS-64 looks good. I agree with the upthread comments. It is average for the grade.

looks better than most for grade. Solid strike, from photo luster appears average and the two minor scratches in cheek area may of held it back from 65. The coin appear solid for grade, so it all about price.

Sounds like a fair price. I would expect to pay a bit more for a strong 64

The coin sold at Heritage on 12/5/18 for $156. If you like the coin, go for it.

Very nice coin other then a few facial hits . PCGS was right on with MS-64 . I think the reverse could have graded a 65+ . You can almost count the corn cornels .
