Or if someone has a paper version only, I can post a picture and maybe they can supply an attribution.

This weighs 9.3 grams, which seems heavy for an evasion, and has a diameter of 28 millimeters. The inscription around the head is very hard to make out but is obviously nonsense, and it looks like: AGOTGEX GONNION On the Britannia side I can only see what looks like: IND on the left.

Not a British evasion half penny, what you have is a colonial Connecticut half penny.

Agreed with @Badger_Mint, I'd say its well worn, but authentic. If you ever have evasion queries, feel free to email me pics, and as I said, I'll give a shot attributing it :)

Thanks, @norantyki. I don't see them in Canada very often. They tend to be dumped in junk bins.
I have asked the thread to be moved to the US section.

Must be a FULL Moon a guy in Poland wants to attribute U.K. Evasions via E-mail and a guy in Canada sees them all the time in junk bins - perhaps Wood 33's confused with worn U.S. Colonials? <BG>

@Colonialjohn - welcome to the world of the internet ;) ... also, 'want' is a bit of a strong term - one of my specializations as a dealer is UK coinage, and I happen to have a copy of the Coleman Evasions catalog - just trying to be helpful and spread the knowledge. Having lived in / dealt in Canada for a fairly long time in past, I can say that low grade 1/2ds, evasion or otherwise, tend to end up in junk bins... although I get the sense from colleagues still living there that that is changing.
