I have seen several different auctions of commemorative half dollars on ebay. They all have the same antique look and all in about the same condition. They are being listed by different people and they don't have the same coins being sold at same time. The sellers are listed as being from the United Kingdom but when it's shipped it's coming from Poland. Auctions up for sale now include: 1921 Alabama, 1938 New Rochelle, 1938 Arkansas, 1938 Gettsburg. Sold items include: 1934 Maryland, 1937 Antietam and 1893 Isabela quarter.
All coins have same patina and appear to be genuine however, how could they all be so similar in look but be all from different sellers - Have you seen them? Your thoughts? I smell something fishy here.

These are fakes, they have been turning up in flea markets here for years - usually brought here by Bulgarian, Romanian or Serb vendors. So, it could be some of them, unsuspecting buyers, or someone (or people) who has (have) gone straight to the source and is (are) shilling them. This being said, I don't see where these profiles are traceable back to Poland (but they do look remarkably like those used by a couple of con-artists out of Bialystok who Polish dealers / law enforcement / ebay, along with British dealer assistance keep having shut down for selling fake hammered Saxon pieces).

Thanks for the update
The seller is listed as being in United Kingdom but unfortunately, I bought one and see that the shipper is Poland.
So I will try and return if I receive it but believe it's a chock up to experience situation

There have been in recent weeks fakes emanating from Polish sellers targeting ebay.uk with these, usually each account will have four / five auctions then disappear to start with a new account the following week.

I've been working on my own commems set and continually seeing these fakes is part of why I moved away from buying on ebay. These were pretty blatant fakes, at least to me, but it makes you worry about the less blatant ones

In terms of your purchase, you should be able to open a case with ebay, whether the seller accepts returns or not. Your money should likely make its way back to you, especially on counterfeits like this, that's a big no no to sell to unsuspecting buyers

@CelticKnot I reported them, and also asked other dealer acquaintances of mine in Poland and the UK to do so - we don't need some bad seeds (to put it politely) discrediting the vibrant coin community / industry here.

I have received info that the coin is in route to me.
Once received, would you recommend that I contact the seller or ebay?
The account that I purchased from has another coin up for sale, another commemorative half # 164621208628

Look at these auctions: 313366879295 313366880329 (these appear to be genuine) Not same seller but is from UK and the pictures are the giveaway for my suspicion.
Others I found include: 303833373762 383885542806 383885543552 14390713355 143907136093

I received the coin that I had ordered. It weighed out at exactly 12.5 grams.
It's pretty close to what the coin should look like except the lettering is thinner than on the real McCoy.
I am sure there are other subtle differences as well. I have been in contact with the seller and requested a refund.
