Can someone please help me verify that this is a doubled die. Hopefully my pictures are not to horrible for you to see it.

I dont see a DDO, and the 6 normally touches or nearly touches the rim.

The 6 does touch the rim, I thought that was atleast clear in all the pictures.

@m2c, I think what @tcd was saying is that having the number 6 nearly touching the rim is pretty common for this date.

The w is pretty clear. It is on more than that but my pictures are not the best.

Note how the hair at the bottom of that area looks thinner than normal. It tells me that the die was over polished at the time your coin was struck. But the note the '63' looks wider. So there is probably an issue with also extreme die wear happening. So I feel it is note a die chip, but just die wear. If it were a chip I would expect to see that area raised? It's not. So I feel it is just die wear.
