I think this may be "struck through roast beef" common for the 1944 Meat Cent.

I do think it may be a strike through, but I'm not 100% sure.

It's pretty deep and not "linear" like a lam usually is. Maybe struck through debris?

It looks like struck through as mentioned by ijn1944,petespockets55, John1, Yokozuna. However I think it looks like a deteriorated heart or butt cheeks.
