Do you think this 1806 6/5 Quarter is worth bidding on? It is not being sold by a dealer--but it is in a slab and the number checks out.

Forgive the poor seller photos.

Thanks.

Worth bidding on if you want a tough TPG graded quarter with a giant spot on the obverse. Otherwise, don't bid.

It has a spot and the reverse isn't fully struck. That's an instant pass to me. Word of advice if you plan to buy draped bust in Fine or above. Don't settle in any regard.

Thanks for the advice. GrapeCollects: Why do you say "don't settle" on Draped Bust coins F(12) or above?

Unfortunately, I can't forgive the poor seller photos, despite the fact that it is slab graded.

Pass. The spot on the obverse is a major distraction.

Personally, I don't like the surfaces or the spot. This is not a horrible coin, but I certainly wouldn't pay up for it.
