I also received these Silver Dollars ranging from 1898 to 1921. Not sure if they are worth anything.

Please start a new thread on your dollars so replies don't get mixed up. Try to show just one or two per thread.

Thanks for splitting up the posts. I'm new to this site and really don't know what I'm doing.

@dwags, first welcome to CCF. Second, if they are real then at the very least they are worth silver melt. Can you please list weights on these as well as if a magnet is attracted to any of them? Those would be two good first steps to see if they are authentic.

@Spence. Thanks for the welcome. As I am not a collector but just have a few coins that I was gifted, I don't have a scale. I did run a magnet across them and nothing was attracted to the magnet. I have the pictured Morgan dollars, also was given 7 1922 and 1 1923 Peace dollars, 17 1964 Half Dollars, and 18 Pre 1970 40% Silver Half Dollars. A stack of Liberty dimes and a pile of silver pre '65 dimes. Not sure what I have but not going to complain for something that was free. #129297;

Melt value each as of today is: dimes $1.85, 1964 half dollars $9.24, 40% halves $3.78, dollars $19.75. Assuming there's about 60 dimes there, you've got $612 just in silver value (if my math is right...). Nice haul. You might get a bit more collector value out of some of them.
