Looking to see if I found a little gem. The guys at my local pawn shop are pretty stern. He said it was a double die but didn't act like he wanted it so I'm wondering what to do with it? My husband and I are new to numismatics and we're starting our own collection anyway, so I wouldn't be upset holding onto it. I would love any comments or advice!

to CCF.
People here with more knowledge than myself will help with your question.
It will be easier to look at if you rotate your pictures to the correct orientation.

Well from what I can see, it looks like MD but I'm still somewhat green to the hobby as well so take my 2 cents for what it's worth lol

to CCF. Please remove cons from holders whenever possible before taking photos. Also, please crop and rotate coins and or photos properly before posting...thanks. From what I can tell with those pics it looks like MD,no added value.

DDD. (Die-Deterioration-Damage) die is really aging fast. Thus the distortion of the devices. Also note Liberty is showing the same thing. The affected areas are always towards the closest rim.

I agree with Die Deterioration doubling--not doubled die.

Value? A solid 10 cents.
