As many collectors know, the 1804 Draped Bust Dollar isn't only the latest date in the Draped Bust Dollar series, but that most iconic rare date was also actually made many years after 1804, with the original Class I 1804 Dollar strikes coming along around 1834 to 1835. Thus, all other Draped Bust Dollars came along before the 1804, and these are much more common and affordable than the "King of American Coins."
