Greetings! I am relatively new to posting and really like CCF so far.

I have a few questions:

What is the best place to post general questions like mine today?

When I search posts for existing answers, I often get answers that are over 5 or 10 years old and no longer relevant or complete. How do I filter replies for answers within a time range when that is relevant?

I get that a certain number of posts or replies is necessary to be able to buy or sell via CCF and agree that this is reasonable and secure. How do I know how many replies I have made so far towards those goals?

Is it possible to view coins for sale in CCF before those minimum post requirements are met to evaluate the quality of items in general and whether they meet my interests?

Your help is appreciated.

@diy, to answer you first question, I'm going to move this thread over to the support subforum. The rules around buying and selling are in a sticky thread in that subforum, but remember that the purpose of this forum is education rather than selling and buying coins.

You can see your total posts in the Author section of your posts right under your avatar.

I think you can view for sale items but maybe that's blocked until you have enough posts (50 I believe) - you could give it a try:

Thanks, KenKat.

I am also trying to figure out best way to get larger images into CCF. I can reduce file size through external apps and import, but am wondering if this rather obvious way in fact works? Thanks in advance. Diy87Nurm7

Yep that is how I do it, although there is a free photo optimizer at this link:

Thanks. That's what I thought. The optimizer is not as easy as other apps out there.

Use the Search button (between Unanswered and Tutorials), then use the "Search by date" to set a range.

Your post count is listed under your avatar on every post you make.
