I think its old and from TEXAS? Your ideas? the dates look like ---8 to 1505 but may be wrong. More likely.

I see the date as 1907.

I'm guessing it's some kind of a sales tax token of some sort.

Looks like a 3¢ piece to me. Might be silver or nickel they made both.

I see where the 3 cent coin comes in but it is more of shield shape, flat on the back and rounded on the front. As for the date you are right probably. I used to see 1505 but the more I looked the more it looked I saw 1907.1505 is way to early. Probably a button but its small. Ill keep looking. There are 2 dates and it is 0008-1905. The diameter is about 8 mm.

I personally see a date of 1907 at the very top of your first photo.
Three Cent Silvers are of course tiny, and have a six-sided star.

After some digging, it does look to be a button. The "great seal of the state of Oklahoma".
