Hi all.... hope everything is well. I found this the other day CRH and actually had to look twice. It may be post mint damage, or perhaps it is a brockage/counterbrockage on the Obverse. What made this strange is that the incused reverse letters are the style of the LMC Reverse "United States of America" not those of the Lincoln Shield cent.

In looking at the b/cb pictures on the internet, there are many that have damage on one side so I am n ot sure. Additionally, I would wonder how if it IS "authentic" I was wondering how it would be that the reverse of the LMS would be visible on the front of a LSC. If it's not "]authentic" I'm curiouse to hear what you all have to say about how it happened. Thanks!

I have posted Obv & Rev
also, close ups as best I can. The type runs around the edge near "Liberty". In real life I can see the top of the "E" next to the D of "United" and I can see the top of the "A" and second "T" in "States" although they don't show as well in these photos.

2 Lincoln cents were squeezed together with some type of pliers hence the incuse reversed letters on the obverse and the damage from the pliers on the reverse.

OK all - thanks. That was my "real" assumption, but it never hurts to ask!

Have fun and thanks again!
