So I was picking up and noticed this 1981 with what looks like the mint mark above 1981? it looks like a D?

sorry, but it is just scratches, I don't even see a "d" scratch.. Do you see a d now that you can see larger photos?

yes I see the scratches but look at the mark next to the scratches

Hmm next to the scratches looks to be additional circulation damage to me. Maybe just Pareidolia?

Not seeing a D mint mark. I see what could be large human with arms in the air above the 1 and the 9.

I see it, but looks to be PMD from another coin hitting it.
