2 Repunched Mint Mark / RPM Finds While Going Through My Collection

Second coin: Mercury dime 1941 S/S RPM-001 FS-501. I'm curious what the value would be on the 1912 S? I saw an estimate ~$100 on copper coins but I couldn't find anything to corroborate that. tropicalbats Pillar of the Community United States 6116 Posts	Posted 01/30/2021 10:18 pm The 1912-S/S is hard to value, as the obverse has been cleaned and so it falls into the world of "details" coins. In general, for 1912-S, RPM-001 is not terribly rare (good luck finding a WRPM-002), and not terribly popular among collectors. So while a great addition to a variety collection, the coins rarely sell for much over what the coin itself is worth. In this case, I would think the S/S would only add maybe $10 to the value of the coin. It's something, but not an awful lot. Report this Post to the Staff
