Wanted to share these two RPM's I found going through my collection. First coin: LWC 1912 S/S RPM-001. Second coin: Mercury dime 1941 S/S RPM-001 FS-501.

I'm curious what the value would be on the 1912 S? I saw an estimate ~$100 on copper coins but I couldn't find anything to corroborate that.

First,

Others will be along shortly, and can provide better guidance on value. Great eye, and nice finds!

Nice RPM, I'll assume thats a rare RPM and say that value could be appropriate. I'm not an expert though.

Better to keep topics to one coin. This helps avoid confusion in responses, among other things.

For future reference and so you'll receive better feedback, please only one coin per thread, and know we split "Modern" coins from "Classic" (the Mercury dime belongs in the Classic section).

As for values, please check ebay's SOLD listings for realistic assessments.

These are a couple of nice rpms! That 12s rpm cent probably does carry some extra value.

The 1912-S/S is hard to value, as the obverse has been cleaned and so it falls into the world of "details" coins. In general, for 1912-S, RPM-001 is not terribly rare (good luck finding a WRPM-002), and not terribly popular among collectors. So while a great addition to a variety collection, the coins rarely sell for much over what the coin itself is worth. In this case, I would think the S/S would only add maybe $10 to the value of the coin. It's something, but not an awful lot.

The 12-S Lincoln Cent is a semi-key with a mintage of only around 4.4 million. So your cent is valuable on it's own even if the RPM doesn't add anything
