Poll Question
Hey everyone. I found this today 1/29/2021. Weight matches other stock quarter but stamp is deep. Lack of detail in hair and neck line as seen. Also on rear. Knot hole in stump almost missing. No rubbing on the edge. Edge is at a slight bevel and quarter will not stand on edge. Lemme know if you think it's worth grading. Thanks everyone.

What is the proper forum?
This one, which is for US Modern varieties & errors, more specific to what you have. It was originally posted in the Main forum, which is less focused.

to CCF. Looks like an early stage Dryer Coin.

@rdd, first welcome to CCF. Second, that broadening of the rim with removal of the ridges is indicative of mechanical damage, such as when coins are caught up in industrial clothes dryers (not a mint error).

Given the photos posted, it looks like a Dryer Coin, or a victim of early stage spooning--suggest googling 'spooned coin'.
