I have an interesting quarter I have concluded a Cud swell on right half of obverse. Looking deeper I want to say I see the outlines of another face in the Cud. I'm going to keep it for myself as a beginner find but do you beards of knowledge think I should shell out the funds for grading? Weighs 5.67 grams.

P.S. I found this a couple of months ago and et it on my book shelf after I originally took pictures. Looking back at them and looking at pictures I just took there is a crack growing down the middle of the lumberjacks head. Will try to link pics in order to see that.

Looks like "someone" melted solder onto that quarter.

Being a turd wrestler I can say with over 96% certainty this isn't solder. I'm not a troll. Just a squirrel trying to get a nut.

Huh, I was figuring a car mechanic. Any chance of a reverse picture? Might be able to tell whats going on a little better with one.

I agree a 100% or something similar was put on the coin. JB weld? If it was a Cud then the opposite side(reverse) the design would be missing
PMD/PSD
Here's one on ebay for comparison,Notice how the reverse is missing.

I'll go with solder also. JB Weld cures a dark grey colour.

Altered coin. It wasn't struck like that. (Don't these coins realize that when they come out in the garage, bad things happen. They should stay out of there. LOL)
