Last coin of the day I swear, and one serious baddie of a coin if I do say so... This coin is extremely special. This is the last coin I needed to complete my US Half Dollars Type Collection. I can't describe how good it feels to finish off this denomination. Edited by GrapeCollects 02/01/2021 01:26 am

What a beauty! I think there's enough high point wear to make it an AU-53, though I could see it getting AU-55

This coin has been stored in a white bleached (chlorinated) paper packet for some time, hence the toning that can be seen here. Fortunately in this case, the toning does not detract from the eye appeal, perhaps adds to it. Obvious wear on the high points of the design, both sides, but for reasons that I don't understand, the fields are relatively undisturbed, and somewhat at odds with the wear. AU-53 consistent with wear, but would be valued higher than that grade, due to a combination of nice fields and toning.

I'll say AU-53, just a knockout.

AU55 (maybe bumped a bit for eye appeal)

Wonderful coin and congrats on completing the run!
I would give it a mid AU grade 53 or 55 after seeing it in person. The highpoint wear obverse and reverse seems quite a bit. However, the lower features down to the field are excellent. If not, the wear would have me thinking XF. There is also uneven wear in denticles and they and rim make me wonder if there is a slight off strike? On the reverse at 2 o'clock it looks like a die crack, perhaps and opposite end, near 8 has some wear that could just be the angle and lighting, too. So, AU53 to AU55 for me.
Congrats again,
Stay well,

I checked out ParadimeCoins and they have a lot of nice coins. You picked up a beautiful example. I will pass on grading as I saw the grade when on the website.

ON review, I feel forced to agree with panzaldi. It is the only way in my mind that I can resolve the difference between what appears to be almost unmarked fields and what appears to be (not so?) obvious wear on the high points of the design on both sides.
The cheek of Liberty is unscuffed and free fom tiny nicks and scratches. Rims and stars look quite good. No evidence of tooling My revised grading? MS-64.
My previous remarks about this coin being stored in a bleached (chlorinated) paper packet remain.
