It still could take awhile. I got an email from the mint stating my burnish ASE was shipped on the 17th. The US postal service still hasn't received the package to ship. I do have a shipping number though. We just have to sit and wait. Maybe the mint needs to team up with Amazon for delivery's. Next day would be great. Wishful thinking. |

Got the shipping notice Monday, but USPS still doesn't have it yet. Normally USPS has it within a day or 2 once a tracking number is generated. Quote:
Well my coin was shipped and I got a weird message. Any one ever see this as a message when I went to go track: Had that happen once when I bought a graded gold Mercury dime off ebay. From my understanding, the package basically ended up on the wrong truck/plane and wound up at the wrong sorting facility so it was going to be longer for delivery (although the message I received also indicated it could have been destroyed by the machine). Fortunately for me, it was just sent on the wrong route and just delayed receiving it by a few extra days. Edited by mrpapageorgio

Considering a lot of people received the shipping notice and the coins still haven't made it to the USPS facility I'm hoping its just a mistaken code some one input.

I assume the tracking is going to say "Pre-Shipment Info Sent to USPS, USPS Awaiting Item" for a few days.  Probably sitting on a truck in Memphis that is waiting to get filled up with the rest of the orders.  |

The mint fulfillment place processes orders everyday. They should have a pickup every day.

That and this fulfillment company may be experiencing the same staffing shortages as just about every other business in the United States thanks to the pandemic. So there could be added delays throughout. Our patience will hopefully be rewarded. I got an email from the mint for this item shipping, with tracking number. Based on other posts I'm guessing it won't make it to USPS hands until next week. And I'll be out of town October 1-5 so I'll get to put a hold on my mail. Order number 114955xx, placed at 12:30pm EST

I noticed a few posts about placing holds on your mail. Just be wary if you've never done it before. I did a couple years back and my mail was still delivered everyday. I came back to a cramped mailbox. Now I just ask a neighbor or trusted friend if they can pick up for me whenever I'm out of town or on vacation.

I am glad this is the last coin set I will be getting this year from the mint. I know I have usually bought the proof and silver proof sets but this year is so expensive for the coins. And the mint has already taken enough of my money this year.
