coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 02/10/2021 6:37 pm Check the same side of the devices on other areas. It maybe Machine Doubling. If so all the other devices could be altered in the same direction. As mentioned, it looks like at one point there may have been Feeder Finger Damage and when polished out, it weakened the design on the bridge of the nose. Also extreme die wear showing die flow lines flowing from the nose/eye area. Not a plus for the coin. Note a doubled die. Probably if you checked lower on that area, you might see Machine Doubling on the lower nose areas and the mouth? Edited by coop 02/10/2021 6:38 pm Report this Post to the Staff
