Just compare it to a "normal" half under the same magnification.

The doubling you se is very common and it is due to Die wear.

Check the same side of the devices on other areas. It maybe Machine Doubling. If so all the other devices could be altered in the same direction. As mentioned, it looks like at one point there may have been Feeder Finger Damage and when polished out, it weakened the design on the bridge of the nose. Also extreme die wear showing die flow lines flowing from the nose/eye area. Not a plus for the coin. Note a doubled die. Probably if you checked lower on that area, you might see Machine Doubling on the lower nose areas and the mouth?

The eye is the only spot on the whole coin that had any irregularity to it and thanks for looking
