merclover Bedrock of the Community United States 10635 Posts	Posted 02/13/2021 11:13 pm Well, not a "guy" nor do I know what "post montage damage" is, but if you meant post MINT damage, then yes, it is post mint damage. It is similar to the Mint's waffling cancelation it does, but the "waffles" are larger, and I doubt the coin would have made it to general circulation. Where does such damage come from? Well, it could be intentional (we see a lot of that) or it could be from being ran over a bit against wire meshing. Your guess is as good as mine. "Interesting" conversation piece maybe, but no numismatic value at this point. to the CCF! Report this Post to the Staff
