Hey I'm still new but just learned about VAM....good lord.
Anyways I have a 1978 cc slabbed from us mint. Probably hoard due to heavy bag marks. Just want to know if this qualifies.
Also have many others that seem to have combinations of their categories of VAM.
Any links are appreciated...seems that in coins knowledge is pretty much everything.

In the pictures, no heavy bag marks to be seen, only light bag marks.

I agree it looks like VAM-17, with die gouges in the eye and nostril. Nice coin in a GSA hoard holder—more valuable if it stays in that holder.
