coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 02/15/2021 7:38 pm To me it appears to be a struck though debris. Note how some of it folds over the rim to the edge. A lamination usually stops at the rim area. If it is debris, the weight would be slightly higher. (Adding metal to the coin) Lamination would be a bit lighter in weight. With the current pics, it looks like the top surface of his shoulder has been peeled away and then reflected back over the mintmark?
