Hi Everyone,
I recently pickd up this coin for about $70 off a seller in the States. I thought it looked really nice, and I'm considering sending it to be graded. The luster is unreal, great cartwheel luster on both sides. The strike on the King's crown is a bit weak though, so I'm wondering what grade y'all think it is? I know this series is particularly hard to grade.

Thanks in advance!

Depending upon if there are luster breaks near the crown, anywhere from EF to 62.

I'll say EF-40, but I'm not very good on these. Almost looks cleaned.

I don't think it's cleaned, the cartwheel luster is pretty nice. I wish there was a way to post a video showcasing it

I'll say VF-30; might make EF-40.

Too much wear on the jewels to be any higher.
That is, of course, unless it's a weak strike

Looks like a weak strike, but a decent AU.

safe grade if buying vf30 rim dings could be much better in hand. Impossible to be confident either way from provided images.

I'll be submitting this one (to PCGS, I have free vouchers, I don't know if ICCS is still open), I'll update you on how it goes. I'm expecting XF-40, wouldn't be surprised if it goes VF or AU. The luster is really incredible

Without better pics or having it in hand all I can say is VF30 or better.
"Dipping" is not considered cleaning...
