I do also see possibly some doubling on the date. Close-ups please.

Looks like field disturbance on the die face. (Note how it flows behind the devices. So I wonder if the die was damaged by a drop, but doesn't look normal) I sent Mike Diamond a note on this one.

It's some form of peripheral die damage. It doesn't appear to be a die attrition error, so I don't know how or when it occurred.

Glad I could help inspire this topic Rob It does looks similar to the issue on my 80P though without the broken looking pieces along the rim. I like the die dent explanation.

The difference being, that on this coin they are raised and appear to be a die issue. On your coin the marks are incuse and have evidence that the coin was damaged. One coin was not damaged, the other coin was damaged.

Thank you all for comments. I appreciate all. CoinHi. I'm glad also thanks. I've been putting it off for months just in a batch of UFOs. Here's a couple more hopefully clearer pictures along with date. I didn't think it was doubled.

I see what looks like lots of scratches from the hair towards the "GOD W" Does that help diagnose the problem or is that a separate, minor issue?
The only widely accepted varieties/errors I found were doubling with ear/tie/beard. Nothing that far north.
Stay well, Diy89Nurm7
