1969-S Penny Date Error Possible Misprint?

I'm new to the coin community. I need some help on this penny I have. Can anybody tell me what this could possibly be worth? Or if it's an actual error/what they know from what they can see from my pictures here? The error is on the number "9" on the date. Feel free to point out anything I might've missed.

This is not a mint error. Your "9" has taken a hit, probably from another coin, we call this "post mint damage" ( PMD). No value beyond face, sorry.

Just a damaged coin. Coins aren't printed. They are struck from steel dies. Dies don't misspell. Other coins alter other coins.
