Hey guys I cam across this 1989 Lincoln that missing the L in Liberty and missing parts of the I in God we trust,also the N looks closed and doubled at the top.

Guessing some grease-filled die effects here, not uncommon.

along with an over-polished die and a Ridge Ring affecting the motto. also notice the weak outline of his coat near the date

I would say normal wear of the die, Ridge Ring.

Yes, Die Deterioration is a big contributor here--ridge ring is a tell-tale sign.
