The coin has a type 2 obverse and reverse, and I can not find any type 2 issues. My concern on the coin is the wear on the obverse and reverse do not match. The obverse shows a VG8 and the reverse a VF20. The wear on the dress around the legs does not appear normal for the grade. The wear on the date is less than the rest of the obverse. The coin has been cleaned. If you do not own the coin, pass. When I first looked at the obverse, my thought was something is not right.

Interesting to see a Trade dollar with this much circulation wear and no chop marks.
