I found a 1970 D Quarter with an error on the reverse but I cannot find any information on it anywhere! Any information would be awesome! I've been searching all night!
You came to the right place! Unfortunately, that's just a bit of damage. The coin took a hit that displaced some metal from the rim. I suspect the damage has been smoothed out a bit by circulation wear.
Thank you! And Thanks for the info && no wonder I cant find anything. I just can't believe how the border is such a perfect angle and its only on the top layer. It really looks like a legit error!

I see what you mean. I suspect it was dented by some square, metal object, though it definitely looks odd. There's just no way the rim can be deformed like that at the mint.
Best way to tell it is damage? Note the rim? Note how it is pushed into the interior of the coin. The edge and rims should be in the right position, to be a legit error.
