Hi, This coin is not magnetic. The coin on right side is about 3.1 grams. I feel the amount of wear dose not explain the low weight. It has a weak strike on some spots. The rims are strong except in a small spot. Coin seems to be slightly darker the my other coins. Can someone please tell me where I can find out about this error, Thanks

Sounds like a thinned planchet issue. Note the weaker struck areas? Check with two other cents to see the thinned area.

Interesting. Please post photos of the coin end-on--direct shot at the rim in two or three places along the rim. Stack with your comparison coin. Thanks.

Hi again, The subject coin is the one in the center, 4th coin from end. not much to see but it shows a little bit. The book say it should be 1.52mm thick. my caliper may not be correct or my use of it. I measured another coin at 1.57mm, so the subject coin may be smaller than 1.42mm. I'm so excited, this may be my best penny find ever.

This scan seems to show it a little better. I was thinking that maybe a foreign planchet got thrown in the hopper by mistake. I herd that happens some times. Thanks for the interest.

Yes, thinking thinned planchet. Nice find. Save in a labeled 2x2 for future reference.
