Common 58 with damage and a minor die chip. 2 to 3 cents. And don't sell on ebay till you learn what a error or variety is.

Not a doubled die. A common, circulated '58 Wheat cent with a die chip or two, along with several dings and hits. Might be able to get 20-30 cents on ebay if the coin isn't misrepresented.

Welcome. I agree with all of the above. The value isn't great on minor die chips (unless in areas like the Liberty). And the very circulated conditions will make it lower.

If you spend some time at error-ref.com, you will save yourself some time in the long run. There you will be able to see pictures of actual doubled dies and other errors to know better what you are looking for and not have to be disappointed like on this coin.

The 1950's wheat dies were used waaaaay past normal retirement. So much is wrong with these, I stop even thinking about them. They are all die events. A break down of the dies. Not a die variety. Just an event that the dies are showing.

I want to thank all of you.... for the replies, I really appreciate it, and I want to know without a doubt if what I am selling is legit. It helps to have a community as such to help with the coin hunting thank you all.
I am sure this won't be my last question, I will reverse the best questions to this forum, just got excited because it was a 100-200k penny....
Once again thank you all for your replies, and it helps tremendously a novice like myself.
