This is another one I would hope CONECA would add if they ever start adding varieties again. Nice tripled eyelid, stronger than some others that are listed like 1955-S DDO-001. 1926 Lincoln Wheat cent doubled die - WDDO-002

Thanks! And that's an amazing coincidence that another very similar example was found at the same time. Super cool and thanks for adding the pics as it makes this thread stronger and more useful.

Hi TB... did you notice anything else about the Obverse. I would think a triple hit would show up in other areas, but not always just curious.

So should I ask the question I have in mind here, or on a new thread? The question is: "Why do some dies have doubled eyelids and what do they have in common with the bar cents on the Memorial single squeeze dies?" 'Nah, probably no one will want to the answer to that question?'

I got a good giggle when he sent me that text and I was like, ya know, I feel like I was just looking at that die. Quote: "Why do some dies have doubled eyelids and what do they have in common with the bar cents on the Memorial single squeeze dies?" 'Nah, probably no one will want to the answer to that question?' The center of most dies is the most susceptible do doubling no? Regardless of multiple hub, vs single squeeze.

Very, very strong extra eyelids. Shouldn't have any trouble getting this one listed. Congrats but now I'll need to keep an eye out for one (... and for a certain Dr. of Lincolns we know.)
Words of encouragement are one of the major food groups. We need to consume them regularly to thrive and grow.
