Does anyone know where I can find a Budget friendly 3D laser Mapping device that can be used for coins. I've been looking no luck.

Low energy Laser Optic Profiling has been around for some years.
LOP can be used to construct a digital 3D surface, which can be used as a program basis for robotic high energy laser cutting of fake coin dies. Those sorts of fake coin dies are very accurate.

A digital 3D surface can also be used as a program basis for the illegal 3D printing of parts for firearms.

Dentists use 3D LOP for milling tooth crowns from blanks made of appropriate synthetic tooth material. I have four synthetic tooth crowns; they perform just like natural teeth. I have seen the dentist's mechanical diamond point milling machine in action.
Fake teeth OK
Not so for coins .

Just saw that the NNP Symposium by Jonas Denenberg titled "AI Coin Grading: In the Past, Now, and in the Future" will be presented at 9:00am CST This may be of interest to CHB, and other collectors, programmers and interested parties.

You can register for free at: https://nnpsymposium.org/

If you can't make that time all presentations will be recorded and posted later in the month on the NNP website, there is never a cost to participate, that was taken care of by the founder Eric P. Newman and the sale of his amazing collection used to fund the Newman Numismatic Portal and educational site at Washington University of Saint Louis.

Ray,
Last year's NNP event was the first time they tried it and it was a lot of fun, and very educational. The videos from that event are linked below, so you can get an idea of what format they are done in.

Two weeks after the event or so, NNP will make the videos from this years event available, so everyone will have access to them for free as well. The only big difference is that registering and watching live, you can interact with the speakers and participate in Q&A sessions at the end of each session.

I doubt you will find anything budget friendly that will pick up the fine details of a coin. The consumer grade stuff just isn't up to the task.

Einscan and Metron might, but their entry level models start at about $10k, and end at around $25k

If you can find a local prototype manufacturer you might be able to pay them for scans. I also know that a lot of people involved in the movie industry use such equipment.

One sure thing a prototype manufacturer won't do for you, is make coin dies.
