Hello I have a 1942 Mercury dime that looks like a date under the date I am posting photos side by side and I mark one to show where I think the underneath numbers are I see a 5&7 possibly and also under the nose on eyes and mouth and neck have some issues possibly. Please let me know what you think and thanks in advance I'm excited to be able to get your opinion

Normal wear and tear from circulation.

Please post full image of the coin, excessive enlargement give false representations of what you're seeing.

It's tough to tell much. Full coin pics may help.

Mostly appears to be just wear marks.

Yes, we need full, large, sharp/high resolution photos of the coin's obverse and reverse to better see what might be going on. Thanks.

Hopefully that's a better photo still trying to get used to new phone camera
Enlarge photo near date you will see a 1 before the 1 and a 5 under the 9 and a 7 between the 9&4 and possibly not sure but a 4 between 4&2.
Sorry if that sounds confusing but it's the best way I can describe it
