This would be my first one so even in this condition I'm excited. I know some of you are probably thinking how many different times you have but that's okay with me. I'm just happy to have actually found it The picture is not tilted the coin is.

Nice find. Looks about 45 degrees. To show how much it is actually rotated, stand it in front of a mirror and take a photo so that we can see both sides.

hello My2cent i dont see any 1967 quarters listed on rotateddies.com http://www.rotateddies.com/ maybe a new discovery. edge of the coin looks flatten. doesn't look like a Magician's coin. on a Magician's coin, if you tap it on either side, it sounds hollow. please post a picture of the edge of the coin and a picture of the coin in front of a mirror with the backside showing in the mirror. like this: thanks

I was actually wondering how I could show everyone and now I know. Thank you JimmyD! It's the first time I have done that so it was a little strange but I think it will give a better view in full.

thanks for the mirror picture.
looks more like 100 degrees out of rotation give or take.
EDIT: maybe more like 125 degrees

That's awesome! Thanks for helping me out with taking a picture. I don't know why it didn't dawn on me to do that but now I know for future reference

Very interesting. For a quarter of that date I expect little (if any) die rotation. Nice catch.

Nice! Probably just one last step before calling it the real deal, and that's getting a weight. Some magicians coins end up looking like that so best to check. When I look at the rim below the date and below QUARTER DOLLAR I see a bit of bi-coloration. Could be normal, could indicate tomfoolery.

A sharp photo or two taken end-on of the potential 'tomfoolery' area (as noted by tropicalbats) might tell us more. Thanks.

I believe this is what you were asking me to show you. Just let me know and I will do my best to accommodate.

I'd keep it either way, very cool. Waiting to see where there experts land...

Quarters from 1965 to 1998 weigh 5.67 grams new from the mint. That coin is very close if you count for the wear.

Definitely seems to be authentic to me but I'm no expert

It's the biggest rotation I ever saw in that quarter series. Very nice.
