I don't have a lot of experience with clips, so I was wondering if it was just some lam on the E and PMD on the ragged clip area, but I trust your judgment and thank you!

IsThisAnything, i am new to errors as well. like I said, I see the ragged clip but no LAM. I am guessing what you are seeing is part of the ragged clip. one of these days I will find a ragged clip

Wow, that's a beautiful cracked planchet in that 35% silver alloy. Looks like that piece is about to break off. Wonder how many years it "survived" in circulation?

Wow thanks everyone! That's my first and Rothery just introduced me to ragged clips a few weeks back, so I am surprised this one actually fit the bill. It's like getting a gold star from the teacher when your coin gets coopified.

I've heard of people biting gold coins but never silver...must have chipped a tooth...  Great looking....where did you find it? Edited: never mind, just read your "clipped" nickel post..
