Hello, I'm looking at a 1960 D Nickel with a double rim. My question is when looking at the mint mark, is this a D/D. I'm leaning towards not but wanted to ask the professionals.

The mintmark took a hit. That doesn't make it a RPM. A RPM will show a spread between punchings:

Note the spread on the mintmark size. It is larger. On yours, it was just flattened on the west part of the mintmark.

Agree, not an RPM. The mint mark was hit/dinged while in circulation.
