Looks like another decent example of this type to me. Couple hits on obverse but overall not too bad for $26 or so.

VF25. The couple obverse hits don't bother me, though it does knock it down a bit. Overall nice example at a good price.

I'm at VF25, not a fan of the greeny stuff, I'd Verdi-care it myself. Then a bit of care brushing it might turn into a nicer looking example.

A couple of hits on the obverse. Nice strike on the reverse.
Definitely needs some after care attention.

Nice pick-up!

maybe an old cleaning. VF30 and I'm on the fence about the dig on the obverse. its significant enough that it could pull a details designation.

I agree with the upthread comments on the market acceptable old cleaning, obverse knock, Verdi-care (if you can find it in the wild), VF-something grade, and overall eye appeal.

It has a pleasing coffee color. It had plenty of circulation after the knock, and the damage isn't as distracting as it would be on a less consistently toned or higher grade coin. This coin definitely is more appealing raw than in a details slab. I could see a buyer balancing the eye appeal with the knock and seeing those factors as offsetting each other.

IMHO, it's a solid bourse floor mid-VF.
