Hey, it's DrawTen. I'm a collector of a multitude of things and recently I've been looking at silver coins and representive money to collect. But to start I decided on looking through my pennies.. found a few wheat and a few that may be errors... please help me become coin literate! Are these errors or crap?

Well I wouldn't call it crap but yes, this is just a 1965 cent, and what you see is damage, PMD.

Ok, We'd love to help you, but not like this. It is much, much easier if you show us one coin per thread, and photograph the front (obverse) and the back (reverse) of the entire coin, then closeups of any areas of special interest to you. And it is helpful if you describe the "issue" with your coin, then try to show us. It is difficult and confusing to try to address multiple coins in one thread. Thank you, and welcome!

Try not to add a new finger print to your coins, you has already forensic evidences there. Those finger prints ruin the coin.

I'm seeing a mix of things across all the photos. Will reserve comment until we see these coins posted in individual threads.

That is a different issue. It is called Ridge Ring. Neither are premium coins. On is a post strike event, the other is a die event. This happened a lot on the dies on the 1980's Zincolns.

FREE opinion: The coin in the first images was scratched by a coin rolling machine.

I'll agree with that - And Coop nails the others as just a Ridge Ring
