coppercoins Pillar of the Community United States 7629 Posts	Posted 12/28/2008 11:01 am The one problem you may find with this coin if reselling becomes your goal is that the number of collectors specializing in Kennedy half dollar die varieties seems to be far smaller than the number of these pieces known. Demand is far lower than supply driving the value of this nice doubled die downward. In fact, it is one of the cheapest of all major U.S. doubled dies at about $15-$20 for a Bu example. mycrob Pillar of the Community United States 2602 Posts	Posted 12/29/2008 10:37 am Thanks everyone. I think JFK is a sleeper series. People will wake up maybe 10, 15, 20 years from now. There are a lot of low mintage coins in this series, especially 2002-present. Putting together a BU set from circulation is extremely difficult. My macros setting stinks on my dig camera, so I was taking pics through a microscope and couldn't get the lighting right. I got the degree of magnification, but couldn't get the lighting right.
