Hard to tell from the photos--a little soft and not showing the full coin. Light source seems to have introduced a rose/salmon-like color. As of now, I'm thinking Die Deterioration coupled with a fair amount of circulation wear.
One full coin photo of the obverse and one full coin photo of the reverse. Cropped and rotated properly before posting. Also adjust the color so it is true to life. John1
Looks more like a Struck Through Grease fill on both sides. Like the operator wiped the dies with a cloth, moving all the grease into the outer areas of the dies. (Note the affected areas before they disappear, they get wider as the fill of the devices get totally filled: If it were DDD, the devices would be normal, then the fields would be affected. I'm not seeing that on this coin.
