Hey all. I've seen on the www that the 1937 Wheat penny without the mint mark d is worth money. I have 4 of these pennys plus 1 with an s and 1 with a d.

A LWC with no 'D' means it is not from the Denver Mint, but instead from Philadelphia. Mintage numbers for the 1937 Cent Year Circulation Strikes Proof Strikes 1937 309,170,000 9,320 1937 D 50,430,000 1937 S 34,500,000

The 1937 "without D" is one of the most common pre-190 Lincolns, worth just a few cents each in typical circulated grades. to he CCF!

The 1937 is so common you can get a PCGS slabbed example Graded MS66 for around $20.

The only cent from Philadelphia with a 'P' mintmark is a 2017-P example created for a special event: So missing a mintmark on a cent, is real common. 38

I've got 5 tubes of '37 Philly cents. I suspect they're not worth a fortune.

Someone may have mixed up 1937 and 1922, in terms of Lincoln Wheat cent value for no mintmark?!

That would be a pretty impossible mix-up, I'm guessing.

I would cancel my subscription the that WWW channel. They have misled you about any high value for a 1937P Lincoln Cent. Even a 1937 proof only has a value around $150.00, if slabbed. Keep in mind that if your find 4 of anything pretty easily, the laws of supply and demand will dictate a lower value.
