1979 quarter weighing 5.02 g.

It feels like the obverse and reverse are slightly larger than inner layer. Cannot see any mint mark.

Very new to coin collecting, forgive my inexperience.

no mint mark means it was struck in Philadelphia.
I think coop nailed it. An acid dipped coin would
account for the lighter weight.
This would be considered damage ( PMD)
