Seller photos. Your grading opinions are very welcome :) The price tag is about an MS61 if it were slabbed.

I'll say AU-55, perhaps AU-58.

Looks like RPD & DDR FS-801. ( DDR FS-801 refers to the listing for the Doubled Die reverse). Take a look at PCGS:

Very nice coin! Probably AU-58 for me.

I'm also of the opinion it's AU-55 with a shot at AU-58. Depending on how it appears in hand, there's a chance TPG may give it a "questionable color" designation.

AU55 due to lack of remaining luster

I have it at 58, but the coin does not look natural/original from photos. I would not pay MS money for the coin.

AU53/55. Definitely wouldn't pay MS money considering the decent price jump. MS61 is almost double AU55 money.

I'd go a bit lower on this and give it a market grade of XF-45. Maybe AU-50.

Old cleaning, retoning from that. IMHO, it is market acceptable and straight grades. The obverse toning is a little blotchy, but not a distraction. There are quite a few contact marks in the obverse right field. light wear on the central devices. Nothing abnormal with the wear. I agree with AU-55, and a shot at AU-58 on a good day.

In terms of value, I don't have a feel for the RPD/DDR value. Setting aside the variety, I agree with the upthread comments that this coin seems quite a bit overpriced if it would take MS dollars to acquire it.

Depending on where it is for sale and what flexibility exists for making a deal, this may be one to approach the seller with a multiple contingency offer: submit to PCGS, and you will pay X dollars for AU-55, Y for 58, and Z for UNC, assuming it straight grades, and split the cost of grading regardless.

Reverse looks better than the obverse to me. Too many little dings and crackles in the right obverse field to be A58. So...AU55.
