Just wish the coin was in better condition, anyways, as you can see the Doubling on the letters is obvious and appears an both the obverse and the reverse and around the Polar Bear and the Queen.
To many pics to upload but these pics should make it clear.

Nice example!

I wrote 4 listings for the 2012 two dollar coin, two listings are for DDO only, one listing for a DDR only and the last listing is for the DDO / DDR that you have.

I would keep it, the DDO / DDR is the harder one out of the 4 to find.

007 .... You are evidently the guru on these doublings and have written extensively on them, but it looks to me like MD or DDD. I'll take your word for it.

I also have two 2012 loonies with the same doubling.
One is obverse and the other reverse. I'll post them later
so I can have Okie shoot em down again. I know the difference between MD and DD and it is definitely DD.

Thank you Okie,
at first glance they do look like Machine Doubling but when you look a bit closer (closer than most care for most often times) you start to notice notching and splits.

2012 was a good year for collectors to find doubled dies in circulation and mint sets for all denominations. I wrote over 6 listings for the Loon dollar alone that has some pretty impressive doubled dies and even a DDO+DDR just like the two dollar coin, not to mention the nickel & dime listings.

The one thing I noticed on all examples for 2012, the doubling is almost identical across all denominations, only difference was direction/rotation.

2013 is also known to have this exact doubling that can be found in the "Happy Holidays" mint sets and in circulation, there is even a few on ebay right now.

Here is an example of one of the 2012 DDO listings.
