Hi Everyone,

I am new here. I am new to coin collecting. You know, COVID (had more time in my hands to do new things )

Might you please help me weigh in on this quarter? It looks like a DDO AND a DDR? There is doubling on the bottom left feather of the eagle, and on the claws, and the leaves underneath, and on the beak. Also, on the mouth of Washington, and on "In God We Trust." But like I said, I am new to this so I do not know if it is really doubling.

I have not found this variety/error anywhere to confirm. Heeeeelp?

Thank you all.

My apologies for having so many pictures.

What you are seeing is Machine Doubling. It is not a doubled die. There are no listings for DDO for that year on the two sites we check here a lot.
Variety Vista:
DDO:
http://www.varietyvista.com/09b%20W...Listings.htm
DDR:
http://www.varietyvista.com/09b%20W...Listings.htm
The ones underlined have listings. The ones, not underline have no listings those years/mints
doubleddies.com:
http://doubleddie.com/721634.html
No listings either.

Coop knows! Machine Doubling. BTW, after about 3 or 4 good pictures, I think we can tell what's going on. Keep searching and best of luck!

I counted 42 pics. That must have taken you a while to photo and upload.

Think of the time you will free up to search more coins when you post what is recommeded, 3 to 4 pics.

The experts can usually determine what you have found with a good description of what you see, and those few pics.

Keep searching...
