This one has never been high on my list to find, but blundered into a NGC PF 66 RD example so I bought it to knock off this DDO. Extremely minor Class II and VI, with light doubling on IN GOD WE TRUST and apparently the eyelid. I can see it in the motto, but I've certainly had stronger stuff than this one turned down as "too minor." Note that even the date and LIBERTY aren't affected. Sorry about cruddy pics, but just no time right now for making better ones. 1939 proof Lincoln Wheat cent doubled die - DDO-004

Interesting, Thicker bar on "T" and thicker bottom on "U"? This is that same class of doubled dies often seen on the reverse of these LWC's correct?

Yep, that's the common DDR on wheats, just not very strong.

Nice. Another coin that isn't Necessarily rare but hard to spot.

On the first image, the light angle is so low, you can see shadows on the Liberty and the date. Same also on the reverse.

I'm with Mr Frog on this one - but nice to get an early proof cent

A little tough to spot but certainly a nice coin and always a win to cross another off the list. Nice pickup!

Thanks all!!! The doubling is pretty light but the die marker is a die crack on the lower left wheat that makes this variety fairly impossible to mis-attribute. Doesn't show up very well in my shoddy pics but it's actually quite strong.
Coop, not the light angle at all. The apparent shadowy letters are the coin reflecting the light reflected off the inside of the slab of the devices. So many smooth surfaces and light bouncing around in there.

I have seen the shadow affect before. So it was not new to me.

Nice to knock one off the list by "accident". Congrats (I can't remember if this is the same variety I found at my first FUN two years ago.)

Different, but it is reflection: I knew I had seen that before.
