Well, here it is.
I thank you for your patience and am glad you were able to entertain yourselves during the wait.
When I joined this community on December 20, 2007, I did not realize the journey I had started. I have been participating in online communities since I logged into my first BBS in the early fall of 1984 using a Commodore 64 and a 300 baud modem. I cannot even being count the number of accounts I have created in the nearly 37 years since, but no community was able to keep me for this long, nor elicit this amount of participation from me.
It would never have happened if not for the members. You keep me here. It it not just the job of moderating, but getting to know so many of you, seeing how we have all grown and continue to grow every day. Sure, there have been ups and downs, but that is what keeps it interesting. For the most part it is a positive experience, a part of my life I would miss if it ever ended.
I never thought I would make it to 100,000 posts, if only because history had shown me that these communities are fleeting in the grand journey of my life. Do I think I will make it to 200,000? Probably not. Will I? Most definitely.
Thank you, Coin Community Family, I have the honor to be your obedient servant,
J. Buck
